Dr. Wauson was born and raised in the Houston area on acreage that seemed to attract many stray dogs and cats in need of love and care. It came as no surprise to her family that, after studying at Reed College in Oregon, her pursuits turned to veterinary medicine. She then graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Dr. Wauson proudly returned to Houston with her family after graduation.
Dr. Wauson still has a keen interest in providing care and comfort to our homeless pet population, working with rescues at Cypress Fairhaven as well as with local nonprofit groups. Her other special interests include surgery, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and forming meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
