Dr. Elizabeth Anderson - Veterinarian

Elizabeth Anderson

Dr. Elizabeth Anderson is a dedicated veterinarian with a lifelong passion for animal care that began on the rural dirt roads of Louisiana.

As a child, she frequently rescued and rehomed abandoned animals, which sparked her interest in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. She spent her formative years volunteering at shelters and fostering animals, experiences that continue to shape her compassionate approach to veterinary care. Now based in Cypress, Texas, Dr. Anderson is excited to give back to her new community.

Dr. Anderson earned her Bachelor of Animal Science from Sam Houston State University in 2019, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2025. She is Fear Free certified and has a strong interest in behavior, dermatology, urgent care, and client education. She is especially passionate about reducing the stress of veterinary visits and believes in building meaningful, personalized relationships with her clients and their pets to ensure the best possible care throughout every life stage.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Anderson enjoys hiking and spending time in nature with her 12-year-old cattle dog mix, Magnum. She also loves exploring new foods, traveling, and picking up new hobbies. A fun and personal detail: she has a unique collection of lizard broaches inspired by her childhood nickname “Lizzard”—a name still lovingly used by her family, who now call her Dr. Lizzard. Each broach in her collection holds a special memory, reminding her of her roots and journey into veterinary medicine.
