Dr. Alyssa Rahaim - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Rahaim has been a life-long animal lover; she started fostering strays and walking dogs when she was a child, started volunteering at Special Pals Animal Shelter at 12, and started working as a vet tech at 17. She is now living her dream as a small animal veterinarian. Dr. Rahaim is passionate about personalizing care plans to treat each pet as an individual, and strongly believes in the importance of educating and involving pet parents as full partners in the care process.

Dr. Rahaim graduated in 2014 from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been practicing in her hometown of Houston ever since. She has also volunteered as a vet with Harris County during multiple natural disasters and would love to talk with you about how to prepare your pets for these events.

When she is not working, Dr. Rahaim loves horseback riding, hiking, training her dogs Brody and Triss, and playing video games and board games with her husband Chris.
